DROITWICH Rugby Club ended a run of four matches without a win in Midlands One West.
They beat visitors Sutton Coldfield 14-10 at the Glyn Mitchell Memorial Ground.
Droitwich scored two converted tries to lead 14-0 at half-time.
They held on for a precious victory in the second period ahead of Saturday's derby at title-chasing Bromsgrove.
Fourth-from-bottom Droitwich's four-match run without a win had included a 20-20 draw at Old Halesonians along with three defeats.
