MALVERN Buzzards' Wesley Odgen flew to Pisa to run his first marathon.
He completed the course on a chilly winter's day in Italy in four hours 47 minutes 29 seconds.
Nando Sestito, Buzzards' representative in Pisa, ran the half-marathon in 1.48.16 in his hometown.
On the same day, seven Buzzards enjoyed a testing orienteering session on the Malvern Hills organised by Harlequins Orienteering Club on a tough five-kilometre course where they had to find a route made by 17 check points.
Sim and Emma Foreman, Dave Woodward, Paola Sestito, Emma Scott, Gillian Lynes and Clive Maddock and his son Dylan competed.
Woodward won the beginners' competition in 39 minutes.
