Golf: The Worcestershire players contest Christmas goose honours
THE popularity of The Worcestershire Golf Club’s Christmas goose competition continued with an entry of 128 over the two days.
The first day’s competition winners included in Division One Wickes Potgeiter with 40 points, in Division Two Mike Bothma with 43 and in Division Three Phil Burton with 39.
On the second day Ian Belsham headed Division One with 40 points and Alan Smith Division Two with 42.
A winter greensome was held with Dave Turner and past captain Steve Bradshaw taking top spot with 42 points.
