MALVERN Buzzards won medals at the Worcestershire Cross Country Championships.

On a 10km course for the men, Keith Evans ran 37.54, Adam Wilson 38.09, Sam Burnage 40.04, Sim Foreman 40.07, Roy Nutbeem 46.17, Paul White 45.25, Andy Rickard 55.06 and Mike Anstey 58.12.

For the women on a 6km course, Paola Sestito clocked 26.39, Alison Webb 26.56, Amanda Dawson 28.45, Ellie Bullman 30.36 and Lynda Broadway 35.24.

Sestito, Dawson and Anstey got medals for third place in the masters women 40, masters women 50 and masters men 60 categories respectively.

The Seven Sins Immortal trail run challenge of 14 miles over 14 hills around the Forest of Dean was completed by Foreman in 2.05.42, Rob Hopkins in 2.16.17, Marc Heptinstall in 2.18.15 and Nutbeem in 2.31.31.

Buzzards' Paul Dolphin was fourth overall at the Croome 10K dirty run in 40.53 followed by White in 46.55, Kate Dolphin in 55.11, Wesley Odgen in 56.33, Rickard in 59.26, Rob Banks in 1.00.36 and Lily Price in 1.06.00.

Broadway and Anstey ran a double park run in York over 10km.

Four runners went to the Kymin winter race over 4.2 hilly miles in Monmouth with Christian Dowle doing 35.23, Dave Woodward 35.35, Megan James 43.28 and Andrew Hughes 46.22.

Buzzards had a fun race, the New Year Block-BUZZ-ster, to celebrate one year of success and having more than 150 members.

It was a 4km course in Barnard's Green and organised as a handicap race where the fastest runners tried to chase the slower ones. About 30 attended with Francesco Cornacchia clocking 14.32.

Clive Maddock completed the Fan Dance 24km race on the Brecon Beacons in 4.24.
