HEREFORD Head Coach Marc Richards has been left frustrated waiting for the international clearance of goalkeeper Jahquil Hill.

The Bulls brought in goalkeeper Marko Radovanovic for today’s 0-0 draw against Ashton United as they hadn’t received clearance for Hill.

“The goalkeeping scenario we actually are trying to sign Jahquil Hill who played on Tuesday night,” said Richards.

“We have been having a nightmare with the international clearance. We have been waiting for three weeks now.

“All we wanted to do was just make sure we had some cover there in terms of having Marko (Radovanovic) on the bench.

“I know him previously and he is probably known to Hereford as well in terms of playing pre-season as well.

“We managed to get him in today as cover to make sure we don’t leave ourselves short. I haven’t always been running with a goalkeeper on the bench but it’s nice to have that option especially away from home.

“Trying to get Jahquil’s international clearance through has been frustrating and I really appreciated Marko doing that for us today.”

When asked if Marko will leave the club once the Hill signing passes international clearance, Richards added: “Marko was clear in terms of a conversation I had with him.

“He has just been playing local football for the last few month. I had him in a game in pre-season at Gloucester so I knew what he was about.

“It was just a bit of cover today so I appreciated him doing that. We have two weeks now to hopefully get that international clearance through so hopefully Jahquil will be signed on.”
