WORCESTER City Youth proved they are definitely up for the cup after wins for all teams in competitive action.

Worcestershire FA Saturday Cup final places were secured by both the under 14s and 15s.

The under 14s eased past Nunnery Wood Colts 6-0 while their elders needed a penalty shoot-out to get past Kidderminster Harriers.

Archie Mears equalised for City as the clash finished 1-1 before the hosts held their nerve to win 5-4 on spot-kicks.

In JPL Cup matches, there were victories for the under 10s and 11s over Stoke RTC and Coventry Sky Blues 5-0 and 1-0 respectively.

A trio of other friendlies took place at Perdiswell where the girls' under 10s hosted Wyre Forest Phoenix and the boys' under 16s and 13s both took on RTC Birmingham St George’s.

A Cam Monteith brace and Tristan Webby’s winner completed an impressive comeback by the under 16s.

They fought back from 2-0 down to win 3-2.

Harry Rebbeck netted for the under 13s in a game they probably deserved to get at least a share of the spoils from but were left to rue conceding three goals in the first quarter in a 4-1 defeat.
