EVESHAM United have re-signed goalkeeper Connor Thompson ahead of the Southern League Division One South run-in.
The ex-North Leigh, Swindon Supermarine and Chippenham Town custodian comes in to compete with and as cover for established number one Andy Hannah.
“He was with us back a couple of seasons ago so knows the place and is the type of character who mixes in well with the lads," said manager Paul Collicutt.
“It was an ideal opportunity to make sure we have that cover as back up to Andy and with his quality, it will push him as well.
“I cannot speak highly enough of both of them and it is very reassuring to have two top keepers going into the run in."
The move came about with Sam Gilder, dual registered to act as understudy to Hannah, becoming the out-and-out number one at Worcester City.
The Southern League registration deadline passes at 5pm on Thursday with no further signings expected at Evesham.
