MALVERN Triathlon Club's 16-year-old ace Malachi Cashmore won his age category across the West Midlands at British Triathlon's performance assessment weekend for the schools' national super series.
Cashmore was 15th overall in the United Kingdom in his age group after delivering his 800-metre swim in nine minutes 51 seconds, the 20-kilometre bike section in 30 minutes 30 seconds and the 5km run in 18.19.
His overall time of 59.23 guarantees his entry into the super series and he intends to climb the rankings this season.
