MALVERN Triathlon Club athletes have enjoyed a successful start to the 2019 season.
Colin and Sarah Davies competed in the Scenic Six multi-terrain race with second in the men's and women's events respectively in 38 minutes 41 seconds and 44.52.
Clare Bell was fourth in her age group in the Halesowen Sprint Triathlon involving a 400-metre swim, 20.5-kilometre cycle and 5km run, finishing in one hour 41 minutes 35 seconds.
Five took part in the Hereford Duathlon with Vikki Sivertsen competing in the standard distance of 4.6 and 2.2-mile runs and a 19-mile bike section.
She was second woman overall and first in age group in 1.47.40.
In the shorter race of 2.4 and 2.2-mile runs and 19 miles on the bike, Sarah Davies was first woman overall in 1.41.08.
In their age groups, Colin Davies took second in 1.33.53, Heather Kirk third in 1.50.46 and John Bryan fourth in 1.40.12.
