MALVERN Vale Firsts secured back-to-back promotions by topping Cheltenham League Division Three.
They finished the title-winning campaign by beating Smiths Athletic Reserves 4-1 at home despite falling behind after an attempted backheel clearance from Jamie Jones was punished.
Winger Kris Bottrell levelled quickly with a neat chip from Pep Ienzi's pass and then he rounded the keeper from Andre Rodrigues' assist to put Vale 2-1 ahead at half-time.
Vale controlled proceedings with Bottrell sealing his second hat-trick since returning to the club in March with 15 minutes left.
He then provided a pinpoint corner for the in-form Nick Jones to thunder home.
They previously secured the title with a 5-0 midweek win at Kings Reserves.
Jones (2), Matt Strangwood (2) and Ienzi scored the goals.
Welland Reserves host Prestbury Rovers Reserves in the play-offs on Saturday after finishing in third place.
Upton Town and Hanley Swan finish their Division One campaigns on Saturday at home to Dowty Dynamos and away at Kings respectively.
