MALVERN Town Reserves are in Worcestershire FA Saturday Junior Cup final action on Saturday as they take on West Midlands League side Droitwich Spa at Pershore Town (3pm).
The route to the final started with a 3-2 victory at Welland before a 3-1 triumph at Worcester City Reserves and a 3-0 win against Feckenham.
“We’re realistic enough to know that we go into the final as underdogs,” admitted manager Peter Daffin.
“Saying that, if we can perform to our best then we can cause our opponents problems.
“We’ll be missing three key players due to long-term injuries but throughout this competition we have shown tremendous spirit and determination.
“Hopefully we can show these qualities in the final and give a good account of ourselves.”
