Jayne Ackroyd and Lorraine Brooks
TWO Malvern Triathlon Club athletes competed in the ITU World Multisport Championships in Spain.
Lorraine Brooks and Jayne Ackroyd competed in the aquabike event in Pontevedra with the swim reduced from three kilometres to 1.5 due to the cold water.
It was followed by a 113km bike ride.
Brooks was 20th in the women's 45 to 49 age category, finishing the swim in 34 minutes 29 seconds and the bike in four hours 22 minutes 48 seconds.
Ackroyd also finished 20th in the women's 50 to 54 age category, completing the swim in 42.21 and the bike in 4.49.23.
