A MALVERN Triathlon Club trio competed in the ETU European Sprint Qualifiers at Eton Dorney.
With a 750-metre open-water swim, a 21.2-kilometre bike section and a 5km run, John Bryan clocked one hour 17 minutes 42 seconds in the men’s 35 to 39 age category.
Janet Adsett did 1.25.26 in the women’s 50 to 54 group and Heather Kirk 1.33.34 in the 45 to 49 section.
Stephen Clarke and Andrew Rickard competed in the Outlaw 70.3, consisting of a 1.2-mile open-water swim, a 56-mile bike section and a half marathon.
Clarke finished in 5.35 in the men’s 50 to 54 category and Rickard 6.22 in the 45 to 49 group.
Steve Butler did the Slateman Legend race in Llanberis with a cold 1.5-km swim, 92km bike section and 21km run.
He finished in 5.34 for fourth in the men’s 40 to 49 category and 23rd overall.
Dave Potter did the Stratford Sprint Tri with a 400m pool swim, 18km bike section and 5km run in 1.02.10 for third in the senior men’s 35 to 39 category.
