The stableford better-ball, held annually in memory of the club's founder, was claimed with 50 points while Andy Kennedy and Mark Tipton were runners-up on 48 and Ollie Walker and Harry Potts third on 47.

Keith Smith and Noah Wilson and Louie Turner and N Kinsella both scored 46 and Stuart Crump and Steve Thompson and Mike Madden and Pete Sheppard 45.

Phil Spencer (18 handicap) won Division One of Bransford seniors' summer stableford league's third round from Roy Burston (13) on countback with both on 38 points.

Keith Leadbetter (15) got 37, Trevor Atkinson (16) 35 and David Parry (18) 31.

Andrew Jarvis (23) led Division Two with 39 from Martin Linley (20) on 36, Geoff Aston (20) on 35 and Dave Ryall (20) and Mike Murley (21) on 34.

Roy Mayo (25) topped Division Three on countback from Trevor Ditchfield (20) with both on 37.

Brian Taylor (26) and Chris Griffin (31) scored 36 and Richard Holding (25), Brian Curnock (27) and Arthur Yarnold (31) 34.

Atkinson leads Division One overall with 105 in front of Chris Cale on 98, Graham Wilks on 97 and Mike Weaver and Richard Steele on 91.

Aston heads Division Two on 101 ahead of Dave Lindsay and Jarvis on 99 and Linley on 90.

Ditchfield tops Division Three on 111 from Curnock on 108, Gerry McCurry on 101, Alan Wallcroft on 94 and Mayo on 92.

Bransford seniors lost 3.5-2.5 at Kington.

Ferey Ghani (17) and Lindsay (23) won 2&1 and Harry Godwin (22) and Wallcroft (26) two-up.

Andy Falconer (26) and Trevor Atkinson (16) halved while John Phillips (22) and Gordon White (27) lost two-down, Alan Ford (19) and Roger Clark (25) 3&2 and Mike Davidge (16) and Jarvis (23) 3&2.

The ladies' June stableford went to Ann Hayden (24) with 34 in front of June Atkinson (20) on 31, Mary Starkey (27) on 25 and Pam McBride (31) on 22.

Meanwhile, Alexander Park seniors won 5-1 at home to Ravenmeadow and Perdiswell Park from Worcester.

Ray Ingram and Brian Goode won 4&3, Paul Gosling and Keith Smith one-up, Steve Norwood and Geoff Foster 4&3, Alan Shakesheff and George Cozens 2&1 and Julian Smith and Peter Butler 3&2.

Jim Alan and Mike Hawkins lost one-down.
