BRANSFORD Golf Club will repeat their pro-am and am-am competition next month after last year’s successful inauguration event.

Club professional Tim Shephard said: “We had a very successful 22 teams play in it last year and I really would like to push for 30 this year if not more.

“We are the only club in the Worcester series to be holding a pro-am and am-am which will be held on Tuesday, September 24, and this means a team of four amateurs can play in it as there’s no need to get a pro in your team."

Shephard is also looking for tournament sponsorship. More details and entry forms are available at golf.pro@bankhouseworcester.com or 01886 833621.

Tee times will be from 10am and there will be prize giving at the conclusion.
