THE Worcestershire Golf Club drew 2-2 with West Bromwich Albion's past players on the Malvern Wells course in their annual match.
Joe Mayo entertained afterwards with the Baggies team also including Don Goodman and Nicky Cross.
The Ledbury Cup final at The Worcestershire saw in-form Andy McCabe and club champion Tom Howells beat Simon Eales and Colin Goodrum 8&7.
The victors finished off the match with a birdie on the ninth and 10th and an eagle on the 11th.
The Worcestershire were edged out 3½-2½ at Olton in a club match.
The visitors were unable to replicate their whitewash win earlier in the year.
The Lowe Cup stableford was played by past captains of The Worcestershire in testing conditions over 18 holes.
Roger Brierly won with 37 points from Steve Bradshaw on 34.
Dennis Chetwood was third on countback from Mike Sterry with both on 33.
Due to injury and illness the ladies travelled to Evesham with just three pairs for their final match of the season but came away with a 2-1 win.
