NEW Dales went through from a McDonald's Worcester and District League derby in the Worcestershire FA Sunday Junior Cup second round.

But it took penalties to see off visitors Malvern Vale 4-3 after a 1-1 draw with Rio Janic and Lewis Hill on target respectively.

Droitwich Spa BGFC United joined them in the next round with a 4-2 home success over Rubery Memorial.

Despite having Jamie Wall sent off, Spa progressed courtesy of goals from Lewis Yardley (2), Dan McArdle and Ben Cowlishaw.

Joe Bates scored twice as Perrywood saw off Redditch side Winyates 4-2 in the Worcester Nursing Junior Cup.

James Baldwin and Kirk Layton also netted.

Hosts Droitwich Spa BGFC Rovers knocked out PT Eagles 5-4 on penalties after drawing 4-4 with Brent Barnett, Nikolay Pereira Da Silva, Robert Dixon and Shaun Morris scoring for the visitors.

Worcester Saints defeated visitors Perrywood Reserves 4-1.
