THERE was excitement at Malvern Town FC as the club unveiled its new home and away kits for next season.

The kits have been unveiled alongside the club's official technical kit partner Hope + Glory Sportswear.

The club is also fulfilling its environmental commitments to a sustainable future as these "EcoKits" are made using fabric that has come from the equivalent of approximately 16 recycled plastic bottles, which have been melted down to produce a fine yarn.

The end result is that the EcoKit fabric has a more premium feel, smoother to the touch and slightly lighter.

Incorporating sky blue, claret and white for the home kit with teal and claret for our alternative colours, Chairman, Chris Pinder, said he was delighted with the final results.

He said: "I personally love the quality and style of both our new home and away kits.

"We had seen Hope + Glory’s bespoke designs for other clubs and they really stood out, so I am very pleased that we have been able to negotiate a four-year deal with them to be our Official Technical Kit Partner and also operate our online Club Shop.

"The new home shirt is an unmistakably bold and retro design; we have gone with white shorts and sky blue socks having researched our playing outfits of the past and discovered that this was a regular combination over the years.

"Meanwhile the away kit offers an exciting alternative with a classy combination of colours in which we have been able to keep the claret theme running through it, something I know is popular with many of our supporters.

"As well as this, we are delighted that the latest state-of-the-art recycled-material technology will be used to make these EcoKits, which reflects our own environmental values and commitment to a more sustainable future.

"It’s a win-win situation for all involved and hopefully these new shirts will prove popular."

Ric Dennis, Director of Hope + Glory Sportswear, added: "We’re extremely pleased to enter in to this partnership with Malvern Town.

"This is a great opportunity for Hope + Glory Sportswear to work with a forward-thinking club as part of our strategy to support the reach of our brand with the supply of high-quality, bespoke design sportswear.

"As part of the partnership, Hope + Glory will be producing a wider and more diverse product range for the club, which we are really excited about."
