Young striker Ryan Cassidy has signed a new deal with Watford before joining Accrington Stanley on loan.
The 19-year-old revealed the news on Twitter last night saying he was pleased to have agreed a new contract with the Hornets and was now focused on helping Stanley in League One.
He said: "I’m pleased and grateful to sign another new deal with @WatfordFC also want to say thank you to @ASFCofficial for taking me on loan for the rest of the season my focus will be trying to get us up as far that table as possible!!"
Speaking to Accrington Stanley after his arrival he added: “This was the year I had to step up and go out of my comfort zone and Accrington accepted me.
“I am so excited, to play men’s football is different for me and it’s a challenge I am looking forward to.”
