TWO Worcestershire youth football teams are currently under investigation following reports of "poor behaviour" towards young referees over the weekend.
The Worcestershire FA have confirmed investigations are underway.
A statement read on Facebook: "Following reports of poor behaviour towards U18 referees at two youth matches over the weekend, our Referee Department has recommended that fixtures for two Worcestershire FA teams are postponed until investigations are completed.
"The majority of this poor behaviour came from players and spectators. This is unacceptable.
"Poor behaviour towards our match officials must STOP immediately."
Neither side have yet been suspended.
The Worcestershire FA were contacted by the Worcester News for further comment but they declined to add anything more.
