TODAY'S Hereford FC match has been abandoned after allegations of racial abuse aimed at the opponent's goalkeeper.

The match against Sporting Khalsa was paused shortly before 4.30pm after Sporting goalkeeper Constable appeared to have become involved in an incident with a fan behind the goal, first complaining to the referee and then confronting the fan.

Hereford players were seen talking to their fans behind the goal, before boss Paul Caddis waved them all off the pitch.

Sporting Khalsa issued a post on X explaining that there was a stoppage in play and reminding fans that "racism and discrimination of all forms has no place in football, and no place at Sporting Khalsa".

The match was confirmed abandoned at 4.42pm, with the game to be replayed, probably on Tuesday night.
