TWO HEREFORD FC fans have been banned "with immediate effect" after the team's FA Cup tie at Sporting Khalsa was abandoned in the second half.
The match had been paused after an incident involving the Sporting Khalsa goalkeeper and at least one Hereford fan before it was abandoned, with an allegation of racial abuse made.
Hereford boss Paul Caddis has taken a hard line against those responsible, speaking out against discriminatory behaviour "of any sort" and warning that it will not be tolerated.

Now, in an update posted to the Hereford FC website, Caddis confirmed that two people identified as being potentially involved "will be banned from Edgar Street with immediate effect, and this ban will remain in place while a full investigation is conducted".
The incident is being investigated by the police, he confirmed, adding that he is unable to make any further comment other than to say that the club will co-operate fully.
Following the match yesterday Caddis said: "We don't want people like that our football club. That is not a representation of our supporters.

“But sadly, today it is because he was there with a Hereford badge, he was representing our football club, and I hope the book is throw at him, I really do.
“I don't care if that's harsh, I don't care. I don't want him here. I’m seething, what an absolute idiot."
Caddis also said that the club should be ‘proud as players’ that the match was quickly abandoned and the ‘right decision was made’.
“We are fully behind Sporting Khalsa, we're fully behind the goalkeeper. I went an apologised on behalf of the football club.
“I think that was a right thing to do, but we don't represent that idiot.”
