Ledbury and Malvern Swimming Club (LAMSC) has clinched 10 medals at the 2026 West Midlands Summer Regional Championships.
Competing against some of the region's biggest clubs, LAMSC delivered one of its most successful performances in recent years, with 43 top 10 finishes at Sandwell Aquatics Centre.
This achievement marks a significant improvement from last year when a team of 12 swimmers reached 12 finals and collected nine medals.
The club has tripled its number of final appearances, demonstrating an increase in squad depth and competitive consistency.
The medal tally was led by three standout athletes who excelled in the five days of racing.
Barney West was a constant podium presence, claiming four silver medals in the 400m freestyle, 1500m freestyle, 200m backstroke, and 200m freestyle.
Eve McKenna showcased her versatility, securing silver in the 200m butterfly and 400m individual medley, alongside a bronze in the 200m individual medley.
Oscar Townsend proved his strength in distance events, earning silver in the 800m and 1500m freestyle, and adding a bronze in the 400m freestyle.
Head Coach Rob Lancaster said: "To triple our number of finalists in just one year is a testament to the hard work these athletes put in.
"Seeing our swimmers qualify and consistently compete for podium spots against much larger city programmes is incredibly rewarding."
This month, the club celebrates its 50th anniversary with a special celebration party on June 12.
All former members, swimmers, coaches, and volunteers who have been part of the club's journey since 1976 are warmly invited.
