THE NEWENT Orchestra summer concert will offer "Classics for all the Family".
A spokesman for the orchestra says the programme has been picked "for its ease of accessibility to listeners of any age or musical taste".
The spokesman added: "This carefully chosen programme includes short works by familiar composers such as Mozart and Brahms, but the main feature is a medley of tunes from a light comic opera, The Arcadians, an Edwardian comedy with music by Monckton and Talbot.
"Newent Orchestra consists of amateur musicians from around the Three Choirs catchment area of Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and Worcestershire. It is an excellent training ground for young musicians and provides older players with an opportunity to develop and maintain their musical skills."
The concert will take place on Saturday, June 24, from 7.30pm at Newent Memorial Hall.
