CONQUEST Productions in Bromyard has enlisted the help of award-winning young photographer, Tom Flathers, to document rehearsals and performances of its forthcoming production Beauty and the Beast.
The classic fairytale tells the story of a young, arrogant prince who is transformed into a ‘beast’ by a fairy’s curse and can only be saved by the true love of a maiden.
Tom’s photos are featured in an exhibition in the foyer of the town’s Conquest Theatre.
Professional photographer Tom, aged 22, from Upper Sapey, has been feted nationally for his sports photography and has offered his services free of charge in order to expand his portfolio.
Director Barbara Hockley said: “It’s wonderful to see the results of Tom’s work – the pictures are stunning, they are a real encouragement to the actors and they’re a huge contribution to the online blog I’ve set up.”
Beauty and the Beast will run at the Conquest from February 14-23.
