LUDLOW’S Repair Café is back.
People bring along items they love or love using which are either broken or not working properly and a team of volunteers do their best to send them home working again.
Repaired items are saved, at least for a while, from ending up in landfill.
There is no charge for the attempted repair but donations are requested to help meet event costs and any surplus is passed to The Furniture Scheme, who have sponsored this second event.
Repair Cafés are happening across the country more and more frequently as the idea of saving the life of all sorts of household items takes root and Ludlow’s Repair Café organiser, Diane Lyle, is proud to have joined that growing group.
It is happening on Saturday, March 17 between 10am and 12.30pm at the Ludlow Mascall Centre.
