MALVERN Town Wanderers Swifts maintained their unbeaten Evesham Ambassador League Under 14s Pool ‘B’ start with a 9-0 victory over Littleton Juniors.

Patrick Oakley notched his sixth goal of the season and two more from Jake Norris put the hosts 3-0 ahead at the interval.

James McDermott, Tom Pearcy, Ben Meredith, Senan McCullough and Keiran Burston (2) completed the scoring for second-placed Swifts.

  • Leigh and Bransford Badgers Spurs sealed a Worcestershire FA Under 14s Cup second-round place as they beat Nunnery Wood Colts Sharks 4-1 after extra-time.

Matt Cole scored the opener 15 minutes from half-time following Ross Grimshaw’s pass.

Sharks levelled not long after Grimshaw had to take over from injured keeper Dan Eyles.

The defence, particularly Josiah Heath and Robert Palmer, ensured Spurs made extra-time before Sam Hawthorne, Dan Medakovic with a 25-yard free-kick and Cole sealed the win.

  • Leigh and Bransford Badgers Borough swept to an 8-0 win at Claines Cobras in Mercian Festival Junior League Under 10s Division One.

Player-of-the-match Callum Morgan fired Borough ahead before Tobey Jones and Josh Hothersall made it 3-0 at the break.

Morgan added a second goal with Adam Yorke, Hothersall and Jones, with two to complete his hat-trick, adding to the tally.
