JK Rowling has proven how great she is once again by giving Harry Potter fans not only a play to look forward to, but by making the script available for those who can’t catch the show in London.
The script book of The Cursed Child is set for release on July 31, telling the tale of a middle-aged Harry Potter and his middle child Albus Severus, and it’s already been hailed the eighth wonder of the world.
Despite there being a good four-and-a-half months until the book will come out, people are already planning their midnight release parties (even though a midnight release hasn’t been confirmed).
Midnight release parties, if you’re out of the fan loop, are when people turn up at bookshops in costume (technically optional, essentially obligatory) to count down to midnight, buy the book, make general merriment then rush home for a binge-read.
And Twitter can’t wait.
And it’ll be extra fun because July 31 is both Harry Potter’s birthday and JK’s too.
This guy knows where the party’s at, he’s already planning to book the next day off work.
