ORGANISERS of this year’s Shobdon Food Festival have announced the two new charities they will support this year.

Megan Baker House (MBH) and The Little Princess Trust (TLPT), will benefit from this year's event.

MBH, based near Leominster, offers support for children, teenagers and adults with a variety of motor disabilities through an education process known as Conductive Education.

The Little Princess Trust, based in Hereford, provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young adults undergoing treatment for cancer.

Matt Teale, Shobdon Food Festival organiser, said: "These are two fantastic charities doing truly life-changing work and we are delighted to be able to support them."

The Shobdon Food Festival will as usual be supporting causes within the village itself including Shobdon Church.

It takes place on June 29 and 30 at its new home at Shobdon Airfield, alongside Herefordshire Aeroclub’s Aviation Weekend.
