POLICE investigating attempted burglaries at two county post offices are asking witnesses to come forward with information on four suspects seen fleeing the scene.
Intruders targeted both Bromyard’s Church Street post office and the branch in Moreton-on-Lugg, with a white car seen outside the shops on both occasions.
Four people were seen fleeing the premises and getting into a white car after triggering the Bromyard post office’s alarm while an hour earlier the post office at Moreton-on-Lugg had its back window broken.
Police say the damage was caused by someone attempting to get inside.
PC Tracy Robinson said: “We are linking both these offences due to the close proximity they took place to one another in terms of time and location.
“We are keen to hear from anyone else who might have seen this vehicle in either Bromyard or Moreton-on-Lugg in the early hours of December 18 or in the days leading up to the break-ins.
“Anyone with information about these offences can call us on 101 quoting reference 29S 181213.”
Alternatively, witnesses can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
