A PHOTOGRAPHIC competition is putting Hereford in the lens, asking people to capture their city in a new light.
Running throughout March, the Guild of Guides competition is titled ‘The city within the walls’ and offers £50 prizes for the winning shots in both adult and under-18 classes.
Derek Foxton, who produced the photographic history ‘Hereford through time’, will judge the entries.
It costs £5 to enter the adult competition – £1 for under-18s – with runner-up prizes also being awarded.
Money raised will go towards the Mayor’s charities.
