A BUS and a car were in collision in Aymestrey this morning.
The collision happened near the Riverside Inn on the A4110 at around 7.20am. The road remains closed at Mortimers Cross.
There were no passengers on the bus at the time and the male driver of the car - believed to be in his 30s - was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham after suffering pelvic, chest and abdominal injuries.
The bus driver was assessed at the scene and did not require hospital treatment.
It was previously believed two cars were involved in the collision, but West Midlands Ambulance Service has confirmed just one car was involved.
