WAITROSE has announced the date for the official opening of their Old Market store as April 17.
The new store will feature meat, fish and cheese counters, a cafe, bakery and wine department.
A delivery service will also be available for Hereford shoppers.
Store manager Peter Falcini said: “Work is now well underway,and we are very happy to announce an opening date for the new store.
“We have wanted to open a store in Hereford for a long time now and we are looking forward to becoming part of the local community in April.”
The store has created 150 jobs for the city and Waitrose will be getting involved with local causes through the retailer’s Partner Volunteering Scheme.
