HEREFORD'S new Waitrose store will open its doors to shoppers ahead of the official opening of the Old Market development.
The supermarket today confirmed to the Hereford Times that it will open on May 1.
Branch manager Peter Falcini said: "We are pleased to announce that Waitrose Hereford will now open at 8am on Thursday, May 1. We can't wait to open our doors to customers next month and look forward to becoming part of the new development."
As reported in last week's Hereford Times, Debenhams, Waitrose, TK Maxx, and Next were all set to open on April 17, but the opening has been delayed due to the “bad weather”.
The multi-million pound retail site will now officially open on Friday, May 9.
