FORMER colleagues from a Hereford company reunited for an "exciting and emotional" weekend of celebrations in August – with one man even flying from Australia to join in.
The reunion saw around 60 former Twentys Holidays staff members catch up at Saxtys on Friday August 29 and then gather at their Hereford spiritual home, The Green Dragon, for a party on Saturday.
And more than 100 people turned up over the two days of celebrations.
One of the organisers, Bill Heggs, said: "The veterans all carry memories in their hearts of what they were and who they shared their lives with three decades ago.
"The former MD, Mr Vivian Ashworth, flew back from Australia to join his former wife Helen Ashworth and the other hundred old faithful staff to relive bright moments and create a fresh fun filled weekend."
The team gathered outside Hereford's Black and White House to recreate a photo originally taken in 1982.
And the veterans have developed their own logo – which features a gecko replacing the second T of Twentys – which is said to represent re-birth.
They plan to hold a similar event next August.
