THE Ross-on-Wye branch of the Royal British Legion has been named the most efficient in the county – for the fourth time.
The group held its county conference at Hereford's Town Hall earlier this month when it received the Kyrle Pope Cup in recognition of being the county's best.
Richard Ceci, the Ross-On-Wye standard bearer, was awarded the Leen Shield.
This is given to the runner-up in the Regional Standard Competition and he has been invited to attend the service of remembrance at the Albert Hall, where he will carry the county standard.
