UP to £7,000 will be spent on a new heating system for town council offices to make it more energy efficient.
Councillors at Ross-on-Wye Town Council approved the expenditure for a new warm air heating system at the Corn Exchange.
Cllr Richard Mayo said the electricity bills are currently quite substantial as the council offices currently use storage heaters.
He said: "It will save money very quickly for the council. It is not a frivolous thing to do."
