St Barnabas Church Centre
OPTIONS are being considered for a Church of England building in Hereford.
St Barnabas Church Centre in Venns Lane has not been used as a church by the Diocese of Hereford for some time.
A spokesman for the Diocese of Hereford: "The building is currently leased to Jubilee Church and our Deaf Church meets there once a month.
"It is also a community centre with some space leased to other voluntary organisations. The building itself is in need of essential repairs - estimated at costing between £20,000 to £30,000.
"We are currently looking at a number of options for the building’s future, including repairing it, selling it to another church or community group or selling the site for much needed housing."
