OVER £1,100 was raised for the County Air Ambulance during an annual Vintage Tractor Rally recently.
Tractor owners from Kington and the surrounding areas gathered to drive around the market town during the fundraiser.
Participants donated a fee to take part in the rally and the associated raffle.
Organisers Judith and Steve Newman and Alan Bayliss decided to raise money towards the County Air Ambulance's Trust HELP Appeal.
In 2008 the HELP (Helicopter Emergency Landing Pad) Appeal was started, which is a nationwide fundraising program to drive the installation and upgrading of helicopter landing pads at a number of Accident & Emergency Hospitals across the UK.
Judith said: "Being out in the countryside and amongst the farming community we all really appreciate the wonderful work that the air ambulance does and we are very happy to continue to support this worthwhile charity."
The final amount raised at the rally was £1,130
