A NORTH Herefordshire country inn – well-known for the quality of locally-sourced food on offer at its restaurant – could be set to expand.
Plans have been submitted by Coach House Inns to Herefordshire Council for permission to develop additional overnight accommodation in the form of five timber lodges located to the rear of The Riverside Inn in Aymestrey.
Currently able to offer overnight accommodation with six bedrooms at the Inn, the Riverside is looking to extend its provision and is proposing to do this with five chalet style timber lodges with en-suite facilities.
Andy Link, chef/patron at The Riverside, Aymestrey, secured two AA rosettes for the outstanding quality of his cooking earlier this year.
Andy and his team tend a large kitchen garden which is located behind the pub, and supplies the kitchen with a variety of fruit, vegetables, salads and herbs throughout the year.
