THERE are five candidates vying for a place on Herefordshire Council next month.
Voting for the Golden Valley South Ward takes place on September 7.
The candidates are Richard Baker, an Independent from Rowlestone; Anna Coda, from Peterchurch and representing the Labour party; Simeon Cole from Coughton for the Conservatives; Peter Jinman from Ewyas Harold for the Independents; and Jeremy Miln for the Green Party from Villa Street in Hereford.
A vacancy arose after Conservative councillor, Graham Powell, stepped down as he was moving out of the county.
