THE CO-operative in Leominster was closed this afternoon following the death of a man.
The shop in Dishley Street has been closed this afternoon and police put a cordon around the store.
An ambulance was seen outside the store.
West Mercia Police spokeswoman Laura Maltby, said: "Police were called by the ambulance service to a premises on Dishley Street in Leominster at around 12.30pm today (Friday)following concerns for the welfare of a man.
"Officers and ambulance attended and a man – believed to be in his 70s – was pronounced deceased at the scene.
"The man’s death is not being treated as suspicious at this time."
