GORSLEY will once again have a full time post office from September.

The previous branch in the village near to Ross-on-Wye closed in August 2017 due to the resignation of the postmaster and the withdrawal of the premises for Post Office use.

A temporary mobile service started in December but only operates on Wednesday and Friday afternoons from the car park of Gorsley Baptist Church.

From September 1 there will be a Post Office available Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm and Saturday 9am to 12.30pm at the new community shop which is opening at the baptist church.

While the decision has already been made to re-open, the Post Office would still like your views on access and service provision. The consultation closes on September 18. Share your views at postofficeviews.co.uk with the branch code 301618 or call 03452 660115.
