DUDLEY WASPS 16PTS, BROMYARD 6PTS
BROMYARD travelled to higher-graded Dudley last Saturday and put in a creditable performance in the North Midlands Vase cup competition.
However, they left the North West Midlands defeated and now need to concentrate on the league for the rest of the season.
Despite going ahead after a couple of Roger Dixon penalties the two sides were level at six all at half-time.
The second half saw a late penalty followed by a penalty try by Dudley which killed off Bromyard's hope of cup progress.
Young centre Lee Cox and forward Alex Bull both impressed as Bromyard hope to build on recent good form when they entertain Chaddesley Corbett tomorrow (Saturday) to push for league success.
