Author Ben Davis will be making an appearance at a free World Book Day celebration being held throughout Ledbury.
There will be events taking place all around the town on Saturday March 5, just a couple of days after the annual worldwide literary celebration.
Ledbury community groups and businesses have come together to hold activities including storytelling, writing Victorian-style, crafts and balloon workshops.
Ben, author of The Private Blog of Joe Cowley, will be joining in for a day of book signing and reading.
Storytelling for ages 0-6 will take place at Ledbury Books and Maps at 11am-11.40am and 2pm-2.40pm. The shop will be open from 9am until 5pm to browse and spend those World Book Day book tokens.
There’ll be more storytelling happening at Ledbury Funderal Care between 11am and 2pm, while book tokens can also be spent at Three Counties Bookshop from 9am-5.30pm.
Horrible Histories
A Ledbury BookArts Group exhibition will be hosted by the Barrett Browning Institute from 10am to 4pm and you can get involved in Tudor roleplaying activities (if you’re aged 7-10) at the Market House from 1pm-4pm.
At The Old Grammar School in Church Lane, you can try your hand at writing with a dip pen in true Horrible Histories-style from 10.30am-11am and 2.30pm-3pm.
Sara-Jane and Jeanette from Red Earth Arts invite you to join them at Burgage Hall in Church Lane for some booky fun, including creating your favourite book characters using balloons, from 10am-1pm.
