LEDBURY Carnival was a colourful affair as our pictures show.

Ledbury Carnival 2022 Shop Window Competition was judged by 2 independent judges who chose Three Counties Books as the final winner.
For the shop, who have entered for many years, it was their first time win. The staff were naturally elated.
In second place was Oops a Daisy, who are also continue supporters of Carnival who make and donate the bouquets and head-dresses for the Carnival Princess and her Attendants.
In third were the 2021 winners who are also big supporters and regularly offer raffle prizes for all their events.
Congratulations to the winners and special thanks for the other businesses' who took part and contributed to brightening the streets of Ledbury.
Ledbury Carnival Committee can only continue with the support of their families. To the relief of the committee the winners were chosen by Independent Judges.
This was proved in the Fancy Dress competition when all of the entrants were related to the Carnival family.
First place was shared by Jace (Litter Picker) and Bea (Blooming Marvellous) with second place being awarded to Tianna Hall (Garden) Joint third place were William (Police supporting Ledbury) and Arya (Rainbow Unicorn.)
Success continued in the Best Cycle, Hand Propelled Vehicle or Walking Group with Carnival Baby Kiri being placed in second place.
Jace, Arya and Kiri are grandchildren of the Treasurer, and William and Bea grandchildren of the Carnival President.
Not wanting to be outdone, Tianna is also the great niece of the Treasurer.
