Bromyard 19, Hereford III 14 BROMYARD failed to take full advantage of their forward domination in a very competitive encounter last Saturday and left it until the last seconds of the game to seal a win.
Number eight Scott Holloway scored the first try converted by Ben Collins and skipper Nick Legge increased the home side's lead with a typically forceful run before Hereford pegged them back to 12-7 with a breakaway try just before the break.
Hereford took the lead with a converted try in the second period and it seemed like Bromyard's pressure would be in vain until Holloway touched down from a push over try converted by full back Roger Dixon just before full time.
Holloway's back row colleagues Will Tomkins and Alex Bull were on top form as was Dixon who won the plaudits for his influential performance at full back.
Bromyard travel to Redditch this weekend for their toughest league encounter of the season.
