The festive season gets well and truly underway in Ledbury, with a Christmas lights switch-on topping the bill of events in the area this week.

Alongside an award-winning Elvis impersonator, a free live music event and a good old wine tasting, there's plenty to get up to if you've got some spare time this week.

Ledbury Christmas Lights Switch-On

This family orientated lights-on event does not only feature the switch being flicked to illuminate the town, but also offers a broad range of entertainment on Sunday (November 26).

With music, a food court, funfair rides, face painting, a craft area and lots of market stalls.

Beginning at 2pm, with the big light switch-on at 5pm taking place at Ledbury Market House.

Elvis in Blue Hawaii

For comedy and music lovers, Spitz & Co Theatre Company presents their latest show, "Elvis in Blue Hawaii", at the Market Theatre on Saturday (November 25).

The new comedy features the usual fun of an impersonator of The King of Rock and Roll, as well as audience interaction and renditions of Elvis classics.

Award-winning Elvis impersonator Ian Pollock stars in this comedic rendition of the classic film.

Free Live Music Event at The Oak Inn at Staplow

Get jigging at a free live Irish music event The Oak Inn at Staplow from 6.30pm on Sunday (November 26).

‘BANJAXXED’ are set to make their return to the pub by popular demand.

The traditional pub grub menu will be served from 6pm until 7.30pm for those fancying a bite.

The Annual Portfolio Tasting 2023

Hay Wines on High Street invites guests to their annual portfolio tasting on Friday (November 24).

The shop promises "craft wines, liqueurs & spirits" with over 100 varieties on offer, including their own range of artisan Valdobbiadene Proseccos and organic natural wines alongside other Christmas classics.

The event is suitable for enthusiasts or complete beginners alike.
