AMATEUR snappers captured Bromyard at its best for a competition to create next year’s charity calendar.
Mayor Jamie Jacobsen received entries from almost 30 local people depicting every aspect of town life - from festivals to familiar street scenes - in a bid to raise money for HOPE Family Centre.
He said: “It seems we have quite a bit of photographic talent in and around Bromyard.
“The judges, Alfred Mann and Denis Teale, have selected 12 prints from the entries and we have put those onto the calendars.”
As well as the 12 prize-winning entries, the calendars also include several other smaller images of the town and the surrounding area. Winners will receive a free copy of the calendar and a £10 shopping voucher.
Coun Jacobsen said he hoped the entries would be exhibited in the town before Christmas.
