ANGRY residents of Dymock, near Ledbury, are hoping there will be action in 2011 over traffic speeding through the village.
Villagers last summer staged a day of protest aimed at urging drivers who use the B4215 to put their foot on the brake when they pass through. 100 people lined the roadside waving placards urging drivers to kill their speed.
They say that speeding traffic, particularly lorries poses a threat to the lives of walkers and cylists using the road that runs through the village.
And they are now staging an open meeting at which they will once again make their feelings plain and call for something to be done.
The meeting is on Tuesday, January 11, at 7.30pm, and the venue is the community-owned Beauchamp Arms.
